The College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) is private engineering college in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, India. Since 2007 the college has also introduced civil engineering courses bringing the total to seven. Though the affiliation of the college has changed from time to time, it has remained one of the top and prestigious institutions of that university. Before being affiliated to UAtech it was affiliated to UPTech University. college of engineering roorkee has a very lash green campus on the NH-58.
College of Engineering Roorkee in Uttarakhand was founded on 3 December 1999, till than it is on progress. a private trust "SETH ROSHAN LAL JAIN" which is the owner of this college, Mr.J.C.jain, who is the chairman of the trust. The college is ISO 9001, NBA accredited and affiliated to UAtech and approved by AICTE.

College of Engineering Roorkee (COER), campus situated on NH-58, just 7 km from Roorkee, offers an enchanting site with 75 acres of lush green pollution free atmosphere. COER is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun and is recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The campus provides an enchanting site on the busy highway that catches the eye of every passerby.
Concerning about UTU, Uttrakhand Technical University is a state technical university situated at Dehradun. University was established on 27th January 2005 by Uttaranchal Technical University act 2005. Currently the name of state is Uttrakhand, so Uttaranchal Technical University is renamed as Uttrakhand Technical University.

- On the basis of AIEEE/UKSEE/UTUPGEE score, councelling is held by the Uttarakhand Technical University.
- After the university councelling, depending upon the availability of the seats COER management announces its own councelling.
