The institute is managed by Guru Ram Dass Education Trust, registered under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1860.

GRD Education Trust

The Guru Ram Das Education Trust was formed in 1982 dedicated to the sacred memory of Guru Ram Das ji with a vision to promote education through schools & higher education institutes. GRD Educational Trust then further put its efforts to extend its education arena with opening of more 10+2 Schools at Ludhiana, Niranjanpur and Delhi. The Trust has further plans to start secondary schools in Mohali and Sonepat.

Admission procedure for B.Tech course in GRD

Eligibility: 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics Maths and Chemistry/Computer Science. Admission would be made on the basis of merit of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), followed by Uttarakhand Technical University counseling and regulations.

Seat Allotment: 85% seats (50% Uttarakhand + 35% All India) would be filled through counseling by Uttarakhand Technical University. 15% management seats would be filled directly by the Institute Management by counseling based on the basis of AIEEE Rank.

Note: - 5% seats over and above intake are reserved fro Kashmiri Migrants.

Lateral Entry: 10% seats of the sanctioned intake are reserved for Diploma holder and B.Sc. degree holder for lateral entry in the 2nd year. Admission is made through counseling conducted by UTU on the basis of the ranks obtained in UTU Entrance Examination.
