Kumaon Engineering College Dwarahat Almora

The Kumaon Engineering College or KEC, is an autonomous engineering and technology institute in Dwarahat, Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand, established with the sole purpose of imparting technological advances to the state. Kumaon Engineering College was established in 1991 the college has travelled 15 years journey. The institute is fully financed by the government of Uttarakhand and managed by the Board of Governors with the Minister of Technical Education Govt. of Uttarakhand, as the Chairman and Secretary of Technical Education as Vice-Chairman. Principal is the member Secretary of Board of Governors.

Kumaon Engineering College is affiliated to Kumaon University Nainital, which imparts technical education to the students. KEC is affiliated to Kumaon University which provides the student with the degrees in the following discipline:

1. Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
2. Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering
3. Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical engineering
4. Bachelor of Engineering in Biochemical Engineering
5. Master of Computer Applications

Apart from all these Undergraduate & Postgraduate courses, the college also provides the students with the CCNA and Oracle (scheduled) courses.
