HNB Garhwal University 2012 Admission Notice

The H.N.B. Garhwal University has now been upgraded as a Central University w.e.f. 15th of January, 09 by Central Universities Act, 09. The University is nestled in lap of Himalayan ranges in Garhwal region. It came into being on December 1, 1973 by the UP Government Notification with its Headquarter at Srinagar (Garhwal). It has two other teaching campuses at Pauri and Tehri Garhwal. It is a residential cum affiliating institution of higher learning with more than 150 affiliated colleges and is considered to be among the top ten large universities in the country. The University invites applications for admission into following Undergraduate, post Graduate and Diploma courses for the academic year 2012-2013

General Information

• For information regarding eligibility, nature of courses (general /self finance) and subject combinations in (UG Courses) candidates may see the Admission Prospectus of the University or may visit the University

• Merely applying for the course does not entitle a candidate for admission to a course unless the stipulated conditions are satisfied.
• Reservations & Relaxations are applicable as per Government of India and UGC rules.

Application Forms can be obtained from Dean Students’ Welfare Office, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal, Uttarakhand,Pin-246174 or Director Office, Pauri Campus, Pauri or Director Office, SRT Campus, Badshahithaul, Tehri Garhwal against Cash payment of Rs 50/ Or request for application forms through Post can be made by sending a crossed demand draft of Rs.50/- from any Nationalised Bank drawn in favour of “Dean Students’ Welfare, H.N.B. Garhwal University”, payable at Srinagar (Garhwal),Uttarakhand alongwith a self addressed stamped envelope (30x 25 cm) bearing postage stamp of Rs 75/- to the address mentioned below.

The application forms can also be downloaded from the University website www. uttara.in/hnbgu.

Duly filled in such applications can be sent enclosing a DD of Rs 50/- as per above details .Cheques / Money Order/ Postal Order shall not be accepted for the purpose. Incomplete applications and the forms received after the last date will be rejected.

Duly completed applications should be sent to: Dean Student Welfare, H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar (Garhwal)-246174, Uttarakhand Or to Director Office, Pauri Campus, Pauri-246001 or Director Office ,SRT Campus, Badshahithaul,Tehri Garhwal-249001 depending on the campus to which the application for admission is being made.
