DVPS takes care to make the child feel at home. The welfare of the children is the responsibility of the warden / matron guided by a student counsellor and a student mentor.

The students are accommodated in beautiful dormitories. In a sharp departure from the normal concept of dormitory where a group of children are lumped in a huge hall, only FOUR children are placed in the rooms, which have well off toilet facilities on each floor.

There are separate dormitories for boys and girls, each of them maintained by a Matron and Dorm Master. The sanitary blocks are clean, well maintained and have 24 -hour supply of hot and cold water.

Registration and Admission Procedure
Both boys and girls are eligible for day boarding. But only the boys can use boarding facilities. While taking admission in Doon Valley Public School, candidates must fulfill the minimum age requisition as on 1st July of the present academic year. For admission in this School, candidates must fulfill the following age requirements.
For class I : 5+
For class II: 6+ and so on.

If someone wants to admit his/her child, then the person must have to collect the application form along with the registration form and prospectus. The parents of the candidate will duly fill both the application and registration forms. This is the proper way of registration in this School.

To take admission in Doon Valley Public School, one has to appear in both the written test and personal interview. Students are given admission on the basis of their performances in these tests. Here, you have to know one thing that registration does not ensure admission in this School. Candidates must have to appear for the interview and the written entrance test on the particular date of examination.
