St. Thomas' College is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE). English is the medium of instruction, and the Council administers two public examinations - The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) at the end of year X and, subsequently, the Indian School Certificate (ISC) at the end of year XII. Both examinations are held annually in March.

Registration and Admission Procedure in St Thomas College
The minimum age of a child at the time of admission in St. Thomas College shall be seven years in Class III, completed as on 31 March or earlier but not later in any case.

The Admission Form, available from the Principal, is to be filled very carefully after passing the test/interview. No admission will be considered until all requirements are fully met.

Each pupil, at the time of admission, must produce
1) A Transfer Certificate in original from the last recognized School/college attended.
2) A Medical Certificate of health from an MBBS Doctor
