Doon Global School was established in 1998 and it is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE), New Delhi. Doon Global School is also written as DGS. It is a co-educational, residential and day school situated on the banks of river Tons in Dehradun city, facing the picturesque hills. The school has successfully produced outstanding results in board examinations since its inception.
Many students of DGS have got admission in prestigious medical, engineering and various other professional institutes in India and abroad. Admissions in The Doon Global School
You can apply for admission throughout the year for next academic session. Admissions are finalized in the month of March after an admission test. Students registered are given the dates for test and interview in the months of January and February.

Co-curricular activities
There are a lots of co-curricular activities offered in Doon Global School which helps in developing students. Co-curricular activities that students can participate in are Karate, skating, yoga, music, kathak, dramatics, drawing, batik, debates, quizzing, painting, tie & dye, clay modeling and pottery, sculpture, Indian dance and Indian & western music. Special courses in rock climbing, rifle shooting are also organized in DGS.

Cricket, Hockey, Football, Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Swimming, Volleyball, Table-Tennis are the games that students can participate in. The Library of DGS is a centre of informal education. It is well equipped with books and magazines of every kind. Science Labs and Computer Labs provide students with practical knowledge. Physics, Chemistry and Biology labs of DGS are spacious and well equipped. Usage of LCD projectors and various multimedia gadgets has made studies more interactive and easy to understand.
