How to Reach Hotel Alka Lake Side in Nainital
Nainital is connected by good roads to all the major national & state highways. It takes about 7 to 8 hours to travel the distance from Delhi to Nainital (320 Kms.). Taxis are readily available from Delhi, and there are some overnight private luxury buses, as well as state run buses, which start from the Inter State Bus Terminus (ISBT) at around 9 P.M and reach Nainital early in the morning.
By Train : The nearest railhead is Kathgodam (34 Kms.). It takes one hour to drive up from Kathgodam to Nainital by taxi. If reaching you can stay at hotels in Kathgodam
Flights: The nearest airport is Pantnagar (70 Kms) but presently, flights are not operational daily from that airport. The next nearest airport is Delhi (320 Kms.)
