Nauti Village is the inaugural point of the greatest and longest Nanda Devi Raj Jat Yatra. The Nauti village is said to be the home of Goddess Nanda. The yatra is done once in 12 years. This yatra was last completed in the year 2000 and next is going to commence in 2012. The GMVN Tourist Rest House in Nauti Village provides accommodation in economy class and dormitory.
