India International Trade Fair 2005 will commence on 14th of Nov., 2005 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Uttaranchal is a partner State for this year’s event.
Uttaranchal Diwas is celebrated at IITF on Nov. 15 every year. Cultural evening at the Lal Chowk (Open Theatre) in front of Uttaranchal Pavilion, Hall No. 6 will be held from 1900 hours onwards on 15 Nov 2005. The Open Air Cultural show attracts thousands of audiences, ever since it began in 2001. This year’s attraction is melodious songs and dances and really sweet BAAL MITHAI from Almora.

Nov. 17 2005, a GHAZAL SANDHYA will be performed by Ms. S Keshwa of DDN at Hansodhwani. Nov. 17 2005, A special show on LOK-NRITYA AND LOK-GEET of Uttarakhand at Hansodwahi Nov. 18 2005, at Shakuntalam theatre “GHAR JAWEIN” Garhwali moview show and finally on Nov. 19 2005 at the same theatre, Kumauni film MEGHA AA to be shown. |
These functions will have guests of honour from the celebrities at the shows like, Sapna Awasthi, key artist of MEGHA AA, TV artist Hemant Pandey, Varun Vadola, Sudhir Pandey and Himani Shivpuri. Cricket Star, Mohinder Singh Dhoni will also attend one of the events at Pragati Maidan.
