Dehra Dun, Sep 6 (PTI) An organisation of Uttarakhand government employees opposing proposed quota in promotion for SCs and STs in government jobs today decided to postpone its strike.
The Uttarakhand-Officers-Employees-Teachers Joint Federation held a meeting this evening and decided to postpone the stir as the model code of conduct has come into force in view of the October 10 Tehri Lok Sabha bypoll, its leader Arun Pandey said.
