Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Vijay Bahuguna today sanctioned a financial assistance of Rs 90,000 to Vishwanath Rajput, who has been selected to represent in Karate World championship to be held in Korea on August 18-19.
Rajput, a resident of Rishikesh, has been selected by All India Karate Federation to represent the country in the championship scheduled to take place at Busan, said an official release.
Bahuguna also extended his best wishes to Rajput and said his government is committed to provide all possible help to sports talents in the state.
