Dehra Dun, Jun 10 (PTI) The Uttarakhand Government has appointed disgruntled Independent MLA Dinesh Dhane as the chairman of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam with a Cabinet minister rank. Dhane has been made the chairman of Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam with immediate effect and will enjoy the status of a Cabinet minister, officials said today. Dhane was miffed as he was not accommodated earlier in the government despite lending support to Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna.
