Benog Wildlife Sanctuary in Mussoorie
Flora and Fauna in Benog Sanctuary: Famous for being a home to the myriad colourful birds, one can spot the White Capped Water Redstart, the Red Billed Blue Magpie, and the mountain quails. The commonly found animal species found in this sanctuary are the Himalayan goat, panther, leopard, deer, and bear. Opening Time: The sanctuary is open between 7 am to 5 pm throughout the week.
Travel Tips: It is advised to leave early from the lower Mussoorie since vehicles are not easily available and one needs to walk up to a distance.
