Chinta Haran Mahadev Temple
Chinta Haran Mahadev is a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva which is situated 3 kms from town Chakrata. Chinta means too many thoughts over the troubles one is facing and Haran means Destroyer. The temple is home to a tall Shivling and it generally takes a 10 minute stiff walk uphill to reach the temple. This temple is surrounded with pine and rhodenderon trees.

Chinta Haran Mahadev temple is situated in Chakrata which is 86 kms from Dehradun. Dehradun is well connected with major northern cities via motorable roads. There are various bus services available from Delhi to Dehradun. The Dehradun railway station is well-connected with various major Indian cities like Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata etc.
