Dhangadi Gate is a major entry gate for visitors going to Dhikala Range of Corbett Nationa Park. Located at 20 km from Ramnagar at Ranikhet Road, Dhangadi Gate is best option for visitors looking to overnight stay at Forest Rest Houses at Sultan, Gairal, Sarapduli, Khinnanauli or Dhikala.
Entry from Dhangadi Gate is only provided for visitors having permit for night stay in the FRH's of Corbett National Parks. Days visit is available only in canters operated by Forest Department. Day tour is named Ramganga tour and covers a wide variety of vegetation along with some scenic beauty of the jungle. Dhangadi Gate is open from 15 November to 15 June only and remains closed in monsoon.
