The sin of killing a cow is "equal to the sin of killing a Brahmin". In addition, the Ghat is also visited by those people who want to offer solace to their near and dear ones. Ashes of Indira Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi were scattered at this Ghat. It is situated on the southern part of the Subhash Ghat. This Ghat is less crowded as compared to other Ghats in Haridwar.
