Bantoli is the point of confluence of Madhyamaheshwar Ganga and Martyenda Ganga. The trail continues to Khatara, Nanu, and then Madhyamaheshwar. Gaundhar and Kalimath are two important places on the route to Madhyamaheshwar.
By Road: You can take direct bus to Ukhimath from Delhi/Haridwar/Rishikesh/Dehradun, buses from Haridwar and Rishikesh ply early morning and are more frequent as compared from Dehradun and Delhi.
Ukhimath is well connected by motorable roads with major destinations of Uttarakhand state. Taxis to Ukhimath are easily available from major destinations of Uttarakhand like Rishikesh, Pauri, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Gaurikund, Srinagar, Gopeshwar etc. Ukhimath is situated on the road connecting Guptkashi with Gopeshwar.
You can book a cab/car from Ukhimath to reach Ransi. If you want fewer hassles you can take a cab from Rishikesh or Haridwar for entire trip.
