Pauri Getting There - How to Reach


By Road: Pauri is well connected by motorable roads with major destinations of Uttarakhand state. Buses to Pauri and Kotdwar are easily available from ISBT Kashmiri Gate, Delhi. Buses and Taxis to Pauri are available from major towns of Uttarakhand. Pauri is connected with National highway 119.

There are two routes to reach Pauri from Delhi and NCR:
Route 1: Delhi – Hardwar – Rishikesh – Devprayag – Pauri
Route 2: Delhi – Meerut - Najibabad – Kotdwara – Jwalpa Devi - Pauri

Note: It takes around 3-4 hours to reach Pauri from Rishikesh or Kotdwar.

By Train: The nearest railway station to Pauri is situated in Kotdwara. Kotdwara is well connected by railway networks with major cities of India. Trains to Kotdwar are frequent. Pauri is well connected by motorable roads with Kotdwar. Taxis and buses are easily available from Kotdwar to Pauri. Kotdwar Railway station is situated 101 kms before Pauri.

By Air: Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest Airport to Pauri situated at a distance of 133 kms. Jolly Grant Airport is well connected to Delhi with daily flights. Pauri is well connected by motorable roads with Jolly Grant Airport. Taxis are available from Jolly Grant Airport to Rishikesh, Devprayag and Pauri.
