Chitai Temple or Gollu Devta: Chitai Temple is dedicated to Gollu Devta, an incarnation of Gaur Bhairav. Situated 29kms from Jageshwar the deity of this sacred temple is reputed to make every wish come true, provided the worshipper ask for it with a clear conscience. All he asks for in propitiation is a bell, as was evident from the thousands of bells strung across the temple premises. Anyone can even seek Gollu Devta's divine intervention by writing to him. A stack of letter was pinned up next to his image, astride a horse.  

Binsar: It is situated at a distance of 54km from Jageshwar. A famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Bineswar is the major crown puller of Binsar. Perched at an elevation of 2,412mts above sea level, this temple was constructed by King Kalyan of the Chand Dynasty.  The views of major peaks like Chaukhamba, Panchchuli, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Kedarnath and other peaks are stimulating from here.

Kausani: It is one of the most popular hill stations of Kumaon perched at an elevation of 1890mts above sea level. Situated 84kms from Jageshwar this charming hill resort set amidst several snow- capped peaks is endowed with extraordinary natural beauteousness. Mahatma Gandhi and was absolutely fascinated by the scenic grandeur of Kausani while a visit in year 1929. Sumitra Nandan Pant, a renowned Hindi poet was born in Kausani.

Ranikhet: Ranikhet is a hill station in Almora District of Uttarakhand state. Ranikhet is also the home for Kumaon regiment and Naga regiment of Indian Army. Ranikhet offers invigorating views of the snow capped peaks of the prodigious Himalayan range. Ranikhet literally means “Queens Meadow or Queens’s field”. Ranikhet hosts a vast bio-diversity of flora and fauna. Ranikhet is situated 83kms from Jageshwar.
