Jauljibi is the small bazaar of Indo-Nepal border (Uttarakhand / Mahakali Zone) situated at the confluences of Kali and Gori Rivers.
Jauljibi is the small bazaar of Indo-Nepal border (Uttarakhand / Mahakali Zone) situated at the confluences of Kali and Gori Rivers.
The name refers to bazaars on both sides of the river, with the Nepal-side bazaar being rather small compared to that on the Indian side. A suspension bridge on the Kali river has joined the two bazaars and the people of both countries for many years. Jauljibi is famous for its annual trade fair.
Jauljibi is located in Dharchula ( Gori Ganga and Kali river meets here).
Jauljibi is situated near Dharchula. Dharchula is well connected by road to most major neighboring cities. Tanakpur is the nearest railhead, located at a distance around 150 km from Pithoragarh. Pantnagar is the closest airport about 130 km away.
