The name 'Sahastradhara' means the site of 'thousand springs'. It is situated near Rajpur Village, Dehradun. It is a very popular picnic spot among tourists. The place becomes more attractive during the rainy season when there is an abundance of water in the springs. The water of sulfur spring is assumed to have some medicinal properties that can help cure skin ailments.
Lachhiwala
It is a popular picnic-garden spot, situated on the banks of River Song. This place offers economical boating opportunities. It is approximately 22 km from Dehradun near Doiwala.
Tiger Fall

Buddha Temple
It is one of the largest Buddhist learning centers in India. Jhari Pani
It is situated at a distance of about 6 km from Dehradun, the waterfall is an ideal spot to plan a day's picnic with your loved ones. The walk is an experience in itself as you would be accompanied by lush greenery and serenity as you make your way to the spot. Forest Research Institute
It was established in 1906 as the British Imperial Forestry Service. The site also contains a museum for forestry with six main sections that are Pathology Museum, Social Forestry Museum, Silviculture Museum, Timber Museum, Non-Wood Forest Products Museum and Entomology Museum. If you are a nature lover, having interest in botany, a number of things are there for you. Must go and enjoy the ride in FRI Museum and try to spend 2-3 hours inside FRI sitting in a calm place surrounded by forests.
