Ransi Stadium perched at an astounding altitude of 7000 feet above sea level is the second highest stadium in Asia. The stadium is located at a distance of 2.5 km from the town and is one of the highest points in Pauri where games and tournaments are held frequently. At present, the Pauri stadium is under construction to meet the international standards as envisioned.
Ransi is surrounded by the dense deodar, pine and oak trees which make it an ideal destination for picnicking. You can play cricket, football or any other games there with Snow clad Himalayas in the background. You can also visit the nearby Kandoliya Temple of Pauri as well.
As per some rumours, the name of Ransi Stadium will be changed to Shaheed Jaswant Singh Rawat Stadium, after the war hero of 1962 Indo-China War Late Shaheed Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat. The final confirmation from the Govt authorities are awaited.

Ransi stadium near Kandoliya temple is located about 2.5 km from the main Pauri city. The stadium is easily accessible as it is situated only 2.9 km from the Pauri bus stop.
