It is here that her ‘Swayambhu’ or self- manifested idol has been consecrated since ages. Once in every twelve years, the Uma Devi Temple hosts a grand procession in which the idol of Goddess Uma is carried to Dimmer village, her maternal home. Many villagers take part in this procession which is taken out with great pomp and show.
