Tehri Dam is Asia's Largest and Highest Dam (260.5 mtrs)
Tehri Dam is built at the confluence of river Bhagirathi and Bhilangana.
The dam is constructed by Tehri Hydro Development Coorporation (THDC) Ltd.
Tehri Dam has power generation capacity of 1000 MW
The residents of Old Tehri town has been rehabiliated to New Tehri Town.
