Uttarakhand Open University (UoU) is an Open University located in the Haldwani, Nainital, Uttarakhand. This is the only Open University in the state offering various distant learning programmes.

The university was established by an Act of Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly on 31 October 2005. Recognized by Distance Education Council, University Grants Commission and listed in AIU.
