Brief: Chachandu is a famous traditional cuisine of Uttarakhand made with buttermilk and Jhangora (Barnyard Millet). Its very easy to cook.
- Jhangora – 2 cups
- Buttermilk – 600 ml
- Add Jhangora to boiling water and cook for 5 minutes
- Mix Buttermilk and cook for more minutes
- Serves with Gud (for sweetness) or Pahadi namak/ Dal.
