Kedarkantha is a moderate kind of trek, situated in Uttarkashi District of Uttarakhand at the altitude of 3812 m. Due to its location inside Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, the trek is full with the rich Flora & Fauna & amazing view of snow covered valley in winter. Trek start from Sankri Village (1950m) which is a base for Kedarkantha & Har Ki Doon Trek, here in Sankri village you get a chance to observe the lifestyle of this kind of remote cultural villages very closely. Juda Ka Talab is another beautiful campsite between the dense forest of Pine trees.
Our journey for Kedarkantha trek starts from Dehradun passes through beautiful hill stations like Mussoorie, Barkot, Purola, Mori, Netwar, Motwat beside the Tons River.
Early morning at 6:30 our vechile will pick up from Dehradun Railway Station & depart to Sankari village, breakfast & lunch will be served on the way. The route passes through Mussoorie (Queen of Hills), Barkot, Netwar, Mori & Tons River. Overnight stay in Sankri Village.
After morning warmup exercise & Breakfast at Sankari village , we start the trek towards Juda ka Talab, campsite between dense forest of Pine Tree. Overnight stay in camps at here.
Early morning you can enjoy the magnificent view of Himalayan peaks view of peaks is very clear in the morning, it looks like the golden color when sunrays hit snow-covered peak. After morning breakfast in the peaceful environment, now trek start to Kedarkantha base passes through the dense forest of Pine & Oak, & various flora and fauna. Overnight stay in camp in Kedarkantha base.
Enjoy morning view of Nature in the lap of Kedarkantha valley, the sunrise view is very beautiful from here, fresh breeze with the fascinating view all around will blow your mind. After having hot breakfast in the morning we will start trek to Kedarkantha top where Lord Shiva temple with an idol of Shiva, Ganesha & Parvati, Post lunch we depart for Hargaon. Night halt in Hargaon.
Today is last day of the trek, after breakfast in Hargaon, we start the trek towards Sankri. On the way, view of various kind of flora, forest of pine, meadows that will make this journey more memorable journey of your life. Overnight stay in Sankri.
We depart to Dehradun today, full day journey, Lunch & Breakfast will be served on the way.
