Ashok Hall Girls is one of the well-known residential schools for girls in Ranikhet, Uttarakhand. The academic session at the school consists of two terms:
March-July (3-week break in August)
August- December (winter break in December)
Senior Secondary students have an option to choose from any of the three streams: Science, Commerce, and Humanities. A student’s academic progress is determined by her performance in monthly tests, half-yearly and final examinations.
In addition to that, class IX-XII run subject-specific seminars to share their specialist information with other seniors to improve their presentation skills and knowledge.

The registration forms are readily available for the admission. Applicants have to appear for an admission test, the date for which shall be intimated at the time of registration. The parents may choose the venue as Kolkata and Majkhali (Uttarakhand). Selected candidates must provide transfer certificates from the school last attended at the time of admission.
Admission starts from Class IV and for the other classes is subject to vacancies. Admission to Class XI is provisional till the declaration of the Board results.
