- July to December (1st week)
The annual examination for classes II – X are held in the month of December whereas the examinations for Class XI is held in February and XII is conducted by the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in the month of March.
The school has a short monsoon break of about 2 weeks in June and long winter break for the months of December, January and February.

Admissions in Don Bosco Public School Kathgodam
The admission for classes II-IX for the academic session commencing from March is granted on the basis of test as well as an interview with the child and its parents or guardians. Requests for admission in class X and XII are not entertained.
The guardians are required to fill the registration form and pay the registration fee (non-refundable). The school does not accept any donation for admissions. The selected students are required to provide transfer certificate from previous attended school within 15 days along with medical certificate.
