George Public School is a co-educational school in Dehradun, eastablished in 2006. The school is affiliated to CBSE and has English as medium of instruction. The school is the only school in country which provides a platform to join Sainik/Military School, RIMC and NDA.

The school divides its academic year into two terms: the first term extends from April to September whereas the Second Term starts from October to March. Each term consists of two Formative Assessments (FA) and one Summative Assessment (SA).
Formative Assessment (FA): It acts as a tool to help monitor the learning progress of the student. The student is accessed through orals, group discussions (GDs) and assignments.
Summative Assessment (SA): This assessment will be taken by the students at the end of the term to demonstrate the overall learning during the term.

Library: The school boasts of a rich library for each class which consists of 5 copies each of 10 to 15 titles suitable for different age groups, which instills an urge to read among students.

Admission to George Public School Dehradun
The school accepts registration for Nursery and Class X from 1st February for the session commencing in April of that year. Students seeking admission in Nursery will undergo interview by the principal while for other classes and admitted only on the basis of merit and availability of seat.
No child less than three years of age will be admitted to Nursery. Parents and guardian are required to produce birth certificate for admission in Nursery.
