The base camp for the Triund trek is Dharamkot, a little village near McLeodganj. Dharamkot is situated at a distance of 2 km from McLeodganj and it is a short 25-minute walk from the bus stand.
You can also hire taxis or autos from McLeodganj which would be 8 km.
By Road:- From Delhi, You can take overnight Volvo buses or can hire a taxi direct to the McleodGanj. Then hire a taxi or do a short 25 minutes walk from the but stand to reach Dharamkot.
By Train:- The nearest railway station to reach Triund is the Pathankot railway station. There are direct trains running between Delhi and Pathankot.
By Air:- Gaggal Airport is the nearest airport to reach Triund. You need to take a flight from Delhi to Dharamshala, And then again take a flight from Dharamshala to Gaggal Aiport. Then hire a taxi to reach McLeodganj.
