Treks near Chamba

Chamba is located at an elevation of 996 meters above sea level, it is situated on the banks of the Ravi River at its confluence with the Sal River. Chamba Valley is located amidst the majestic Dhauladhar - the outer Himalayas, Pir Panjal - the middle Himalayas, and Zanskar ranges - the inner Himalayas, in Himachal Pradesh. It is an ancient town in the Chamba district in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The district has many tourist attractions such as- Dalhousie, Chamba Town, Khajjiar, Pangi, and Bharamour. There are five lakes, five wildlife sanctuaries, and countless temples situated in Chamba.

Chamba is small but it is attractive and a very popular tourist destination of Himachal Pradesh which is known for its exquisite natural beauty. It is the land of Lord Shiva and is famous for its unspoiled natural beauty. Kugti Pass 

Kugti Pass is situated at an altitude of 5050 m above sea level near the picturesque and remote village of Kugti. It is located in the Pir Panjal Range of Central Himalayas. Kugti Pass trek route connects the Bharmour region of Chamba valley to Chandra-Bhaga (Chenab) river in Lahaul. Kugti Pass offers magnificent views of Manimahesh Kailash and numerous peaks to its north in Lahaul valley. It is one of the most beautiful yet unexplored treks, the Kugti Pass trek in Himachal Pradesh. Trekkers can also explore the Leah Cave situated at the foot of the Kugti Pass.

Manimahesh Trek

Manimahesh lake is located at an altitude of 4080 m above sea level on the foot of Manimahesh Kailash Peak which has 5653 m in height. It is situated in the Pir Panjal range in Himachal Pradesh. The lake is a popular Hindu pilgrimage site that is dedicated to Lord Shiva and it is believed that the mighty peak is the abode of the Hindu deity. The Manimahesh Kailash Peak is also known as Chamba Kailash, It is one of the virgin peaks in the Indian Himalayan region. It is a moderate-level trek where beginner-level trekkers can also participate.

Sach pass trek

Sach pass trek is one of the most popular treks in Himachal Pradesh. Sach Pass is situated at an height of 14550 ft above the sea level in the Chamba district of Himachal. Sach Pass offers you to witness dense forest, quaint little stops like orchards & hamlets, and stunning rivers during the trek. The trek is windy and there are lots of options to explore the snow. It is a cultural experience too as you will meet locals on your way and have a chance to explore the unexplored side of Himachal Pradesh.
