Dehradun, Haldwani, Nainital & Haridwar Schools To Closed Till April 30

In view of the increasing cases of corona infection in the state, except for Kalsi and Chakrata, Dehradun schools will be closed in the entire district till April 30. Apart from this, all schools in Haridwar district, Nainital Municipality area and Haldwani Municipal Corporation area will be closed from class 1 to 11th.

The mandate will be issued regarding the holidays

According to Education Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, on Monday, a mandate will be issued regarding leave in schools. The education secretary said that after the decision to close the schools in the cabinet meeting on Friday, the mandate in this regard will be issued when the secretariat opens on Monday.

For 10th and 12th this decision will not be applicable right now

This decision will not be applicable for 10th and 12th. At the same time, new education session will start in the districts and development blocks of the state from April 15.

Decision to close all schools from Class I to Class 11 till April 30

In view of the increasing infection of Corona in the state, the state cabinet has decided to impose night curfew in Dehradun city from 10 am to 5 am. The cabinet has decided to close all the schools from class one to 11th in the entire Haridwar district, Nainital municipality and Haldwani Municipal Corporation area, except Kalsi and Chakrata in Dehradun by 30 April. This decision will not be applicable for 10th and 12th.
