Disaster Mitigation & Management Centre (DMMC) is an autonomous centre working under Department of Disaster Management, Government of Uttarakhand for the protection of environment and people against any kind of disasters. DMMC is located in Uttarakhand Secretariat compound, the centre has the resposibility to train communities against disaster and prepare response plans.
DMMC has strong police wireless connectivity at State Emergency Operation Centre with video conferencing facility between all 13 districts and 22 state HQs and Ministry of Home Affairs.
