Department of Election is the state level election department in Uttarakhand, working extensively to maximize reach to people of state and provide them services related to election.
The department caters the citizens with better facilities and services like Voter/ Photo ID Cards, Electrol Rolls, Digitization of Maps of Polling stations, distances etc. The department has also the responsibility to aware citizens about their right to election and manage the fair election in state.
State Election Department or Chief Electoral Office works under the leadership and guidance of Election Commission of India. It conducts elections of state assembly and both houses of Parliament.
