Green canvas is sitting right on the main trek route to devban. 3 km from Green canvas on Devban trek is a picturesque spot, Saraswati, an ideal place for a picnic. Few adventure activities like Rappelling, Jumaring, and Rock climbing can be arranged on natural rocks at Saraswati. Devban is around 7 km from Green canvas. Perched at an altitude of around 2900 m, Vyas Shikhar at Devban presents a panoramic view of snow-covered Himalayan ranges. Avid trekker can even explore the Mundali region which is 30 km further from Devban.
Kanasar is around 26 km from Chakrata on the main highway joining Chakrata and Tiuni. The road is decent, though the last 6 km (Lokhandi to Kanasar) requires some careful driving. A 3 km jeepable forest road connects Green canvas with the highway exactly 1.5 km before Kanasar. A good off-roading adventure, the road is only recommended for drivers having some experience in hill driving.
Kanasar is connected to Chakrata through regular State Bus service and private shared Jeeps. People coming in their own vehicle can easily drive up to Kanasar meadows. From Kanasar they can drive to Green canvas in Jeeps provided by Resort. Alternatively, they can trek to Green canvas through an easy trek of 1.5 km. Trek traverses through beautiful deodar forests, picturesque terrace farms, and fascinating Chaani (temporary dwelling units) of locals.
