Beas Kund or Lake is the source of River Beas which is located in above Solang Valley of Himachal Pradesh near Manali. It is an high altitude alpine lake and can be reached by easy to moderate trekking. The Beas Kund trek starts from Solang Nallah.

Best Time to Visit Beas Kund trek

May and June are the best  time for the doing Beas Kund Trek. The snow melts and clears the path during  these months that makes trekking easier and also get some amazing picturesque  views. We suggest you to avoid Beas Kund Trekking during the monsoon season,  i.e., August and September. The place receives heavy rainfalls, and the paths  will also get blocked due to landslides. 

    If you are a beginner  trekker then rain and snowy slopes are not a  good mixture. October is a chilly month here and also a suitable time to plan  the trek before winter sets in. October is the best month if you want to  explore the cool and chilly climate of the place.  

According to some local people, This is the lake where Rishi Vyas used to take bath.

Beas Kund Trek via Lohali

Day 1: Drive from Manali to Solang Valley and then trek to Dhundhi (6 km)
Day 2: Dhundhi to Lohali (3.5 km)
Day 3: Lohali to Beas Kund - back to Lohali Base Camp (3 km)
Day 4: Lohali to Solang Valley (9 km)
