About Buran Ghati Trek
Buran Ghati is one of the most challenging treks in Himachal Pradesh. Chandranahan lake is one of the main attractions of this trek. Many local people considered this as a sacred lake situated in the Buran Ghati trek. This beautiful lake mostly remains frozen.
The panoramic view from Buran Ghati Pass is one of the best you can get on this beautiful trek in Himachal. The trail after the pass is a straight wall where you have to slide for the most part of it. This bit can be technical at times & you need a rope for ascending down the considerably straight face of ice.
We highly recommend this trek for experienced trekkers only. This trek is not for beginners. This trek is only for the experienced trekkers who have done at least 1-2 high-altitude Himalayan treks. A scenic view of the Dayara Bugyal will greet you with a picturesque view of snow-capped mountains in the background and you will be amazed to witness such beautiful campsites which are a treat for every trekker.
