Gori Ganga River

Gori Ganga also referred to as Ghori Ganga and Gori Gad is a river in the Munsiyari tehsil of Pithoragarh district, in Uttarakhand. The source of Gori Ganga is Milam Glacier, in the northeast direction of Nanda Devi and the end point is Jauljibi where it joins Kali River

The length of this river is about 104 km. A  left bank stream called Gonga, merges with Gori Ganga at a tiny hamlet called Milam, located at a favorable distance of 1 km below the snout of the glacier. The valley offers trek route to Nanda Devi East, Hardeol, Trishuli, Panchachuli and Nanda Kot.

The Gori Gaga drains the glaciers and streams flowing from the eastern slopes of the east wall of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary, and those flowing from the mountainous terrains of Panchachuli, Rajramba and Chaudhara, including the Ralam Gad and the Pyunsani Gadera. The Kalabaland-Burfu Kalganga glacier system also drains into Gori Ganga Valley from the east.
