The city of Dehradun is going to welcome the top Bollywood stars for an 2nd Dehradun International Film Festival which will be held from 9 to 11 September. The festival will be organize on 9 to 11 September at Silver City Multiplex, Rajpur Road and on 10 September films will be screen at Tula's Institute Dehradun.
Mega stars like Pooja Bhatt, Shushma Seth, Satish Kaushik, Jimmy Shergill, Hemant Pandey, Manisha Koirala and Himani Shivpuri are going to attend this festival.
By organizing this festival Dehradun will come into lime light and will earn a good name. Directors from Singapore and Taiwan have also send their entries in this festival. Whereas, more emphasis will be given on the promotion of the regional films. The International Film Festival is organized by Him Education Society.
According to the organizer Mr. Rajesh Sharma the main agenda of organizing this festival is to promote the cinema of Uttarakhand. The authorities have appealed the local directors if they have made any short film of five minutes they can get its entry for free. Social media is continuously high lighting the city of Dehradun for the promotion of this event.
