How to Reach Hotel Grand Oak Manor in Binsar
Hotel Grand Oak Binsar lies 25 kilometres north east of the town of Almora and is accessible by road. Binsar is situated in the midst of a forest reserve known as the Binsar Reserve which has been declared as a wild life sanctuary. Binsar is accessible by road from Delhi. One can also reach to the nearest railway stations - Kathgodam as well and take taxi to Grand Oak Hotel in Binsar.
Road Route Map to Binsar Grand Oak from Delhi (8-9 hours, 380 kms):
Drive via Hapur (take bypass) - Gajraula - Moradabad (take bypass) - Rampur - turn left towards Bilaspur - Udham Singh Nagar - Haldwani - Kathgodam - Bhimtal - Bhowali - Garampani - Almora - take upper Kasardevi road towards Binsar (Wildlife Sanctuary), reach the sanctuary gate 19kms. Here you would be required to register your entry into the reserve, prices 1NR 150/- per person plus INR 250/- for the vehicle, and INR 600/- per person for a foreign national, this pass is valid for 3 days only. Drive uphill for 6 kms, till you reach the Shiva Temple and a small ground, take a U turn and follow our signage on a dirt track uphill for 600 mts till you reach the resort!
Please note: Since, we are located INSIDE the heart of the wildlife sanctuary, the entrance gate of the reserve will be open only from sun-rise till sunset, as per the forest rules. All movement relating to entering and exiting the park needs to be restricted between these timings.
