One was a direct and shorter but steep trail of 4 kms to the Churdhar peak. Another was via the temple, which was easy but 7 kms long. It is advisable (even by locals) that one should take the longer route and visit temple before the summit.

After visiting temple, resume your trek to Summit. The summit trek is still very hard and time consuming but offers breathtaking views. Trek down to Teesri or Jamala, as per the trekking speed, timing or guide recommendation. Night stay in Camps.
