Kufri Location
Kufri is a wonderful little hill station about 14 kms from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh. It is located at a height of 2510 mts above sea level.
How to reach Kufri
By Air - Shimla's Jubbarhatti Airport is the closest to Kufri (15 km away). However, this airport can only handle a limited number of flights per week. The Chandigarh Airport is the more convenient airport near Kufri (138 km away). Buses and taxis run at regular intervals from these locations to Kufri.
By Train - Shimla Railway Station (15 km away) and Kalka Railway Station are the closest railway stations to Kufri (100 km away). From here, one can take a bus or a taxi to Kufri.
By Road - Buses run frequently between Kufri and Shimla, Narkanda, and Rampur. State-run buses travel from Shimla to Kufri on a regular basis. Shimla, Narkanda, Rampur, and Chandigarh are all connected to Kufri by National Highway 5. Taxis are also available at these locations.
