Prashar Lake Trek

Prashar Lake is situated in the district of Mandi of Himachal Pradesh and only tourists or trekkers are aware of this beautiful bowl-shaped lake of the Dhauladhar range. It is an unspoiled beauty in Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the best weekend getaways for the trekkers or tourists of nearby cities and states like Delhi, Punjab,  Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, etc.

Bhrigu Lake Trek

May to October is the best time to do this trek. Bhrigu Lake is also known as the Pool of Gods because local people believed that at this lake many Devtas have to take a bath. Shali Tibba Trek

Shali Tibba hill is located in Khatnol village at a height of 2873 m above sea level in Himachal. It is the highest peak in the vicinity of Shimla District. Shali Tibba is 12 km trek which is an easy to moderate grade trek in Himachal. Shali Tibba peak offers a 360-degree view of Kufri, Shimla, Fagu, and Narkanda Hills. Trek to Shali Tibba is a perfect treat for adventure buffs and photography lovers to capture some cool shots for their social media platforms. There is a temple in Shali Tibba peak which is dedicated to Goddess Bhimakali and it is revered by locals. 

Indrahar Pass Trek

Indrahar Pass trek is situated at a height of 14,245 m above sea level. It is located in the border of Kangra and Chamba districts. Indrahar Pass trek is an easy to moderate level trek in  Himachal Pradesh.  It  is one of the best weekend treks in Himachal Pradesh. The Indrahar Pass trekking trail takes you through the placid crystal blue waters of Lake Mankiani and Kareri. September and October are the best months to visit Indrahar  Pass trek. 

Triund Trek

Triund is a beautiful hamlet situated at an altitude of 2828 mtrs above the sea level. Triund Hill is located in the lap of Dhauladhar Mountain which is surrounded by Kangra Valley on one side and the Dhauladhar on the other side. May, June, September, October, and January to March are the best months to visit on this trek. It is a famous weekend getaway for the travellers or trekkers of nearby city and states. The total trekking distance of Triund trek is 6 km. Triund trek is easy to moderate grade trek in Himachal Pradesh which attracts all levels of trekker to this place.

Kareri Lake Trek

Kareri Lake is situated at an altitude of 2950 m above sea level in the Kangra district of Himachal  Pradesh. This trek is a perfect weekend getaway in Himachal which is surrounded by alpine trees and some beautiful mountains. Kareri Lake is located at a distance of 9 km from Dharamshala. Kareri Lake is a freshwater glacial lake trek that takes you through the most beautiful views because it has lush pasturelands, dense conifers, and exotic perennial flowers.  The total trekking distance of the Kareri Lake trek is 27 km. It is one of the easiest treks in Himachal. 

Churdhar Trek

Churdhar Trek is one of the less-traveled trekking destinations near Shimla. Churdhar means Churi-Chandni Dhar ( Bangles of the snow ridge). It is surrounded by a dense forest, and it is rich in a wide range of Flora and Fauna. Churdhar is the highest peak of the Shivalik range. The trek starts from Solan and the trail takes you through beautiful Deodar trees, lush green meadows, and a beautiful view of the Himalayas. The Churdhar peak offers 360-degree views of the surrounding ranges and if the weather is nice then you can also take a glimpse of the Kinner Kailash.

Sar Pass Trek

Sar Pass is nestled at an elevation of 14,000 ft above sea level. It is a perfect trek for beginner level trekkers. This beautiful trek in Himachal starts from kasol and in Barshaini in Kullu Valley. May to October is the best time to visit Sar Pass Trek in Himachal Pradesh. The total trekking distance of Sar Pass Trek is 48 km. The difficulty level of the Sar Pass trek is graded as easy to moderate. So, this trek is for beginners, or family, or school tours.

Hatu Peak

Hatu Peak is located at a distance of 70 km from Shimla. It is a paradise for adventures lovers and peace seekers. Hatu Peak is a less visited place near Shimla. The trek to Hatu peak is a scenic trek that reminds one of Himalayan nature. The Hatu Peak trekking trail is surrounded by some fantastic views of the Himalayas while being covered in a mixed forest of Deodar, Fir, Blue Pine, Cedar, and Spruce. Hatu Peak is home to the Hatu Mata Temple which is dedicated to Mandodari, the wife of King Ravana. Local also says that the peak was once home to the Pandavas during their Agyaat Vaas. The Hatu Peak trek starts from Narkanda and ends at Hatu Mata Temple that is nestled at the top of the hill.

Kheerganga Trek

Kheerganga trek is one of the most famous treks in Himachal Pradesh. Kheerganga is elevated at a height of 2950 m above sea level. Kheerganga is a paradise for nature lovers the beauty of Kheerganga attracts many trekkers or travelers every year.

Kheerganga trek is one of the best treks for beginner-level trekkers. You don’t need to have any prior experience of trekking. It is famous for having a hot water spring. The total trekking distance of the Kheerganga trek is 24 km which requires at least 1 or 2 days.

Karol Tibba Trek

Karol Tibba is situated at an altitude of 2240 m above the sea level. It is the highest peak of the town of Solan. Karol Tibba trek starts from Chambaghat and reach the sacred Karol Temple. The holy Temple is dedicated to Hindu Goddess Kali. During this trek you will also witness Pandav Cave which is believed that it is the longest cave in the mighty Himalayas. This trekking trail takes you to lush green forest, grassland and offers you the beautiful panoramic view of Churdhar ranges, Solan and Shimla.

Tirthan Valley Trek

Tirthan Valley Trek is located at an altitude of 1600mtrs above sea level. It is situated in Kulllu district of Hmachal Pradesh. Tirthan Valley is formed by the path of the river Tirthan as it flows down from Hanskund Glacier in the great Himalayan National Park. Tirthan Valley trek gets its name from the Tirthanriver. Tirthan valley trek takes you through the pine forests, hidden waterfalls, and gorgeous nature.
