Clifftop Club Auli is a luxurious ski resort, situated in Auli, Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state. This resort gives a heavenly feeling as it is perched at an elevation of more than 10,000 ft. above sea level.Clifftop Club Auli is the second highest resort in the world and the only skiing resort in Asia which is located right on the ski slope. It is located near 8th cable car pole from Joshimath. Cliff Top Club is the only hotel situated in main Auli apart from that of GMVN. Clifftop Club also provides pick up and drop off from various locations to the resort.

Clifftop Club Auli hosted the National Winter Games and they are now prepared for the SAF Winter Games which will be held next year in Auli. A research survey by the Alpine Tourism Promotion Council has equated the slopes of Auli as the second largest in Asia and it is also considered as one of the best skiing slopes in the world.

Location of Hotel Clifftop Club Resort

The road from Joshimath to Clifftop Club (17 km) is a steep climb from about 5000 feet to 10,000 feet above sea level. The steep gradient coupled with ice on the road makes it unfit for vehicles during winters. The road is motorable by sturdy 4-wheel vehicles up to the doorstep of the resort at other times of the year.

There are 25 Luxury Studios, 16 Luxury Suites (1 bedroom unit), 2 family suites (2 bedroom unit) in Clifftop Club, Auli.
All units are furnished with a sofa cum bed, and partial kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, hob with four burners. All units have television with satellite connections, telephones, kerosene and oil heat radiators.

Terms and Conditions

• Early check in and late check outs will be chargeable at extras @ Rs 1000/- per room on double occupancy; extra meals chargeable as actuals
• The Booking / Reservation shall be confirmed from the Corporate office, New Delhi/Head office Ramnagar only after the receipt of full payment in advance
• The resort reserves the right to deny accommodation to a guest in the absence of a valid confirmation voucher issued from the reservations department
• Any additional night will be charged on pro-rata basis
• Resort has right to revise / suspend any tariff / package offered at any point of time and can refund the advance received
• The resort management is not responsible for early check outs or late check ins due to weather and road conditions; there will be no refund for packages booked in this case
• Pets not allowed in the resort premises
• Drivers and attendants accompanying guests will be charged at extras as applicable for lodging/boarding in the resort premises
• STD/ISTD/local calls, room services and laundry bills will be settled individually at the time of check out

How to Reach Hotel Clifftop Club Resort in Auli

Auli is well connected by motorable roads with major destinations of Uttarakhand state. The nearest railhead to Clifftop Club Auli is Rishikesh. Rishikesh is situated on NH8 and it is well connected by major cities of India. The nearest airport to Auli is Jolly Grant located in Dehradun district at a distance of 268kms. Jolly grant is a domectis airport connected mainly with flights from Delhi and Chandigarh.
Note: In winters (from December end till mid March) the motor road from Joshimath to Auli is not operational due to heavy snowfall. Cable car is the only mode of transportation from Joshimath to Auli. The last trip of the cable car to the resort leaves Joshimath at 4:20 pm during winters and 5:30 pm during summers. Tourists must reach Joshimath before the last trip of cable car. Tourists reaching late may have tostay in Joshimath overnight at their own expense. Guests visiting Clifftop Club have to alight at tower number eight of the cable car.
