Established in 1973, HNB Garhwal University is a central university located in Sirinagar, Uttarakhand. The university is named after Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. The university plays a very important part in the educational development of students in our nation, particularly those from the Uttarakhand region. HNB University has three campuses, B. Gopal Reddy (BGR) Campus Pauri, Birla Campus, Srinagar Garhwal with its extension at Chauras Campus, and Swami Ram Teerth (SRT) Campus Badshahithaul Tehri.

Undergraduate, post-graduate, and research programmes are offered by these campuses in different disciplines. HNB Garhwal University has 11 schools under various domains.
