Explore Tibetan Culture - Tibetan colony was established in Bir in 1960 after Dalai Lama’s exile from Tibet. There are around 6 to 7 monasteries around Bir and out of them Palpung Sherabling Monastery, located at Keori near Bir is one of the largest monasteries near Bir. It is about 5 Km from the main town.

Mountain Biking - The best way to reach here is taking mountain bikes for rent and taking a challenging and equally rewarding road trip to the monastery. If you going here in the morning or evening get ready to be mesmerized by beautiful views all around, a peaceful environment and chants of monks all around.

Visit Dharmalaya Institute of compassionate living - It focuses on sustainable living and conducts various courses on organic farming. So if you are an eco-tourism enthusiast then this could be one of the idle destinations for you to visit.

Hiking in Bir Billing - If you are a trekking enthusiast then there are many small trekkin routes. Rajgundha trek most famously known as the 360-degree trek. It totally justifies its name because of the panoramic 360-degree view of Rajgundha valley all around.

Kangra Valley Toy Train - This train line is a narrow-gauge line and is very similar to the Shimla Kalka heritage train. It runs between Pathankot and Jogindarnagar and covers a distance of 164  kms in around 10 hours. You can take a short trip on this train from Pathankot to Anju or back to enjoy this heritage ride and the scenic beauty of Himachal all around its track.

Paragliding in Bir Billing

Billing, at 2430 meters above sea level, is the highest point for paragliding takeoff. It is the world's highest point and the second best place to go paragliding, after Lake Como, Italy. Every month, Bir Billing welcomes hundreds of paragliders to participate in the sport.

In Bir billing, paragliding can take many different forms, including tandem (with an instructor), solo (by professional paragliders), hang gliding, and parasailing.
