Day 1Dehradun / Haridwar – Chopta (198 km / 7 hrs)
Your trip begins with a drive from Dehradun or Haridwar to Chopta via Srinagar and Rudraprayag. Stop at Rudraprayag Sangam, where the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers meet. Continue your journey through pine forests and mountain valleys. On arrival, check in to your camp or hotel, enjoy a warm dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 2Chopta – Tungnath (4 km trek) – Chandrashila (2 km trek) – Chopta
After breakfast, start your trek to Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. If you’re up for more adventure, continue to Chandrashila Peak for magnificent Himalayan views. Return to Chopta by evening, relax around a bonfire (seasonal), and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3Chopta – Sari Village – Deoria Tal Trek (2.3 km one way)
After breakfast, drive to Sari Village, the starting point of the Deoria Tal trek. Enjoy a short hike to the lake, famous for its stunning reflection of the Chaukhamba peaks. Spend some peaceful time near the lake before returning to Sari and then back to Chopta. Overnight stay in Chopta.
Day 4Chopta – Dehradun / Haridwar (198 km / 7 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive back towards Dehradun or Haridwar. En route, visit Dhari Devi Temple and Devprayag Sangam, where the rivers Bhagirathi and Alaknanda unite to form the holy Ganga. Drop at your preferred location with cherished memories of the Himalayas.
