Morning: Depart from Haridhar/Rishikesh (250 km, ~8–9 hours) with a scenic drive through Devprayag and Rudraprayag.
Afternoon: Check into a cozy campsite or guesthouse in Chopta.
Evening: Explore Chopta Meadows and attend a bonfire with hot refreshments. Enjoy the New Years Eve.
Overnight: Stay in tents/cottages with basic amenities.
Day 2Trek to Tungnath & Chandrashila (1 Jan 2027)
Morning: Post breakfast, begin the 3.5 km trek to Tungnath Temple (3–4 hours, moderate incline). Marvel at ancient architecture and spiritual vibes at 3,680 m.
